At Bantam Planet, we contribute 1% of our revenue to carbon removal

Bantam Planet is part of Stripe Climate, a coalition of businesses accelerating carbon removal.

No company can stop climate change by itself. Stripe Climate aggregates funds from forward-thinking businesses around the world to increase demand for carbon removal. Stripe Climate works with Frontier, Stripes in-house team of science and commercial experts, to purchase permanent carbon removal.

Further more, we decided to work with Panda Game Manufacturing for the Kickstarter because they hold themselves to the same standards and ethics that we do!

During our conversation with them about environmental considerations, they said (and I'll quote straight from the email):

"At Panda, we have a commitment not only to produce the best quality games in the industry but to operate in a sustainable and ethical manner.

We believe in producing the highest quality games in the industry, so you, your friends, and your family can play them for years to come. We also believe in reducing the environmental impact of producing games. Some steps we’ve taken in that direction include using eco-friendly inks, glues, varnishes, and wraps, as well as sourcing wood from providers who use responsible forestry practices.

We also feel strongly about recycling. Our standard cardboard components are made from 30% recycled material, our shipping cartons are crafted from 100% recycled paper pulp, and we take great care to recycle all excess plastic and paper materials instead of simply discarding them.

We are committed to continuing the push toward more sustainable manufacturing.

Additionally, we are partnering with One Tree Planted to plant one tree for every 1000 games made in 2021. One Tree Planted is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to global reforestation. They plant trees to restore nature and biodiversity. They also raise awareness about the importance of trees, offer businesses like ours a simple sustainability solution, and motivate younger generations to do something positive for the environment. We've already planted over 3000 trees this year!"

We want to make Bantam West an ethically conscious product that is built to last!
